Mobile Payments
Dialogue’s mobile payments service (also known as WAP billing) enables companies selling content over the mobile internet to charge payments directly to consumers' mobile bills, rather than sending premium SMS messages.
WAP billing provides a secure payment system that makes it clear to the end user the amount they are charged as only a single payment transaction is used. It is easy for the consumer to make a purchase and they are offered a seamlessly integrated experience.
When the consumer is ready to make a purchase they are presented with a standardised though customisable payment interface which allows them to make the purchase without breaking the WAP session. They are charged directly to their mobile phone bill, or, if it a pre-pay customer, credit is deducted.
Dialogue can currently offer mobile payments in:
- UK - PayforIT
- Spain
- Australia - Optus

Dialogue has been selected as an Accredited Payment Intermediary (API) for payforIT by the UK mobile network operators, to provide a mobile payment service to merchants who are selling content over the mobile internet.
