Mobile Billing & Delivery
Mobile Delivery
Dialogue’s bulk SMS service allows you to send SMS text messages to handsets almost anywhere in the world and also receive messages. A bulk SMS message is free to receive by the mobile handset user but costs the sender to deliver that message.
The bulk SMS service - also known as Bulk Mobile Terminated (MT) - allows you to send a SMS through a range of different mediums: HTTP(S), SMPP, SOAP or through E-Mail.
Dialogue also provides a fully functional web-based broadcast facility that allows you to upload lists of opted-in mobile phone numbers (TXT or CSV) to send broadcasts to. The mobile numbers can be validated prior to sending, so no duplicates are sent.
Dialogue routes messages from mobile operators around the world to ensure the fast and reliable delivery of messages at competitive prices.
Send SMS messages to GSM networks around the world
Dialogue can deliver SMS text messages to almost all GSM mobile phone networks around the world.
Delivery Reports
Dialogue offers delivery confirmation when a message is delivered to the mobile phone. Web-based reporting allows you an up-to-the-minute view of message delivery status.
Message Branding/Setting the sender address
Text messages to mobiles can be branded, by setting the originator address (sometime called OA substitution or SenderID) to an alphanumeric string of your choice. This can be done on a per message or per broadcast basis.
On-line search facility
Dialogue’s management information system tracks all outbound messages and provides on-line information and message tracking. Search facilities are optimised to ensure searching through even large volumes of messages (e.g. millions) is fast. Full details of each sent message are available, including mobile number, delivery time and message text.
Support for long Text Messages (using Multipart SMS)
GSM SMS text messages have a limitation of 160 characters. For messages that are longer than this, the SMS server can automatically send a multi part series of SMS messages.
Inbound SMS
Inbound SMS also know as Mobile Originated (MO) – allows businesses to receive a SMS message from a mobile handset.
For inbound services, aside from shortcodes, Dialogue offers a range of solutions which allow consumers to send inbound messages to a service or application:
- Virtual mobile numbers - these are 11 digit mobile numbers that are connected to a high throughput connection to the mobile operator. They have the advantage of being accessible globally.
- Inbound MMS numbers - these allow customers to send pictures, voice clips and video clips in to an inbound MMS number. These pictures or clips can either be sent to an application or presented in a web gallery for the customer.
