K2 Media is today one of the UK’s leading mobile content providers in the B2C market. As part of its ongoing success, it brought in Dialogue Communications to further enhance its products and services offering.
K2 sells digital mobile content including videos, full track downloads and games directly to consumers through both its mobile internet site and off-the-page advertising. It runs its media campaigns through over 50 full pages of magazine advertising per year, whereby customers can simply send a text message to a predefined number to receive their desired content. K2’s customer base has consistently grown since it launched in 2001 and as a result it needed Dialogue, a mobile solutions specialist, to handle the technology side of the business.
Dialogue provides K2 with access to its state-of-the-art mobile applications portal (MAP), which allows the company to outsource the hosting of its mobile internet site, content management, billing and delivery. K2 is also using MAP’s in-built broadcast tool to spearhead a more aggressive mobile marketing campaign, to ensure customers are frequently informed of the company’s products and services.
